アイドル企画2023～ライブ開催体験記～

The Light Music Club, an official student organization of Japan Women’s University, to which I belong, has held an annual individually planned live concert called “Idol Project” for several years. I served as the organizer of the live concert in 2023.

I was invited by a senior student to perform at the live concert during the previous year. Afterwards, I decided that I would like to try my hand at managing the live concert. I have served as manager for about a year. I started by making reservations at live music venues and gathering bands to perform. Once that was handled, I still had to manage the event on the day of the concert.

I put a lot of effort into announcing the live concert, using Twitter and Instagram to send out information to my club members at the university, as well as other light club members at different universities with which we interacted. I like to use social media, but this was the first time for me to send out information with a specific purpose such as “announcements”. I wanted to share information about the event, but I also wanted to create new opportunities for interaction during future club activities.

I had never had the experience of “connecting people” before, but through organizing this live concert, I learned the excitement of connecting people. I am very glad that I organized this event, as I can see and hear that the exchange between the performers continues to this day.

私が所属する日本女子大学の公認サークルである軽音楽365体育投注会では、数年に渡って「アイドル企画」という個人企画ライブを毎年行っています。私は、そのライブの2023年の主催を務め、企画の運営を行いました。

前年度の企画で先輩から声を掛けて頂いてライブに出演したことをきっかけに、今度は自分がライブを運営する側をやってみたいと思って企画をスタートしました。ライブハウスの予約をして出演バンドを集めるところから始まり、当日の運営まで約1年間主催者として活動しました。特にライブの告知に力を入れ、TwitterやInstagramを使って大学のサークルメンバーはもちろん、交流のある他大学に向けて情報を発信しました。私自身、SNSを通して情報発信することは好きですが、今回のような“告知”という趣旨が決まった情報発信は初めてでした。自分たちのサークルだけではなく、より多くの他大学軽音サークルにこのようなコンセプトのライブがあることを知ってもらいたい、今後のサークル活動で新たな交流の場を増やしてもらいたい、そんな思いがありました。

私はこれまで、【人と人を繋げる】という視点はもったことがありませんでしたが、このライブの主催経験を通して、自分がたずさわった“企画”を通して人と人が繋がっていく感動を知りました。ライブの場をきっかけに出演者同士の交流が今でも続いている様子をみると、開催して本当に良かったなと思います。
