Conch Cement Fenghuang Mountain Cement Plant is located in Qishan, Shanxi Province. It has a 9MW pure low temperature waste heat power generation system and uses deep well water as circulating cooling water. The water quality standard is seriously exceeded, which causes serious fouling on the condenser. At the same time, the circulating wastewater discharge is forbidden. Therefore, it is necessary to construct a set of circulating cooling water treatment facilities to improve the quality of the circulating water and achieve ZLD target.

The designed discharge is 35m3/h, and the technical route is pretreatment→ BWRO concentration→depth softening→SWRO concentration→TVR. The route successfully achieves ZLD target by using waste heat from the cement plant, and the fresh produced water is recycled to the circulating water system which have met environmental protection requirements ,improved the quality of circulating water, slowed down the tendency of condenser fouling, and saved water and drainage costs.
